This is my go to lunch place in the area. It's far above any other option. I've had the catfish sandwich, rice plate, and noodle bowl all from here. They are all wonderful. Ambience is nice for a casual lunch. It can be crowded but it cycles through quickly. Staff are very friendly. Feedback: Cat fish rice is a bit salty It'd be nice to be able to get less sweet iced coffee!

Very unique banh mi sandwiches here. Unlike other familiar spots. I've also tried the spring rolls which are really good and a good amount for the price. One of my go to lunch spots for a quick takeaway near my work.

While they were busy because of lunch rush, I still got a great banh mi out of it. It was hot and fresh, and the chicken was so flavorful and OVERFLOWING from my sandwich. They really piled on the daikon and carrots + mayonnaise too. I'd definitely come here again for a quick lunch break near the office!

Great place to get a quick lunch. Large portions and tasty. I've gotten the Five Spice Chicken Rice Plate every time I've gone here and it's been good. The skin is crispy and overall it's a solid fast lunch. It can get busy around noon!

This is such a great lunch spot if you work in the Financial District. definitely gets pretty busy during lunch hours though so would recommend you get there during off hours if possible! I got the bun thit nuong and it came in a huge bowl w rice noodles and plenty of lemongrass pork. The pork had lots of flavor and wasn't too chewy -- the peanuts on top added really nice garnish and crunch. service was very fast, the food arrived within 5 minutes. The banh mi's are enormous and stuffed to the brim, so hoping to get that next time. Really good prices for the amount of food you get too!

Such fire food. Super busy during lunch time during the work week but totally worth the long line. They give a lot of protein and if you sit down, they'll serve you even if they're just supposed to be a takeout place! (Not to be confused with their sit down restaurant Mau.) Price ranges from $16-20 easily -- but totally worth it!

Biggest Banh Mi I've ever had! I had the 5-spice chicken and it was super good. I wish they would have cut the chicken a bit thinner to make it less messy and easier to eat. The meat was flavorful and juicy. It was on the pricey side but that's what's expected in downtown SF. Easy walk from my office and there's tables inside. I'd definitely come back.

Solid lunch spot. The service is quick, and my takeout was ready 15 minutes after I ordered it online at noon on a weekday. There are about 5 tables inside for eating in. I recommend ordering on the phone or in person. I think they didn't notice the instructions in my online order about my allergy, but when I brought it up in the restaurant, they were very quick to remedy the issue and prepare a new entree (sans allergen) for me. I had the bun thit nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles). The meat marinade was very tasty and true to the dish. The noodles were cooked well. I wish there had been more noodles (relative to the amount of veggies), but this wasn't a dealbreaker. The portion size for the price ($15.50, incl. tax) was typical of a downtown lunch spot. I wasn't stuffed afterward, but I felt moderately full. See my photos for the size of the takeout box relative to an iphone. Next time, I might order an egg roll or an appetizer in addition to an entree.
